Central Florida Health Alliance

Benefits/Alternative Work Arrangements: Flextime, compressed work schedules, job-sharing, telecommuting, and a formal phased-retirement plan are alternative work arrangements offered to all employees at CFHA. Full-time employees are able to move to part-time work on a temporary or permanent basis. Retirees can take advantage of the “Summers Off Program” or the six-months-on, six-months-off option.

Opportunities for Retirees: CHFA’s 800 retirees benefit from the work of a staff member directly responsible for retiree relations. The Alliance invites retirees to events, provides ongoing access to retirement planning, and formally acknowledges employees when they retire.  Retirees can also take advantage of temporary work assignments, consulting or contract work, telecommuting, and full- and part-time work opportunities.

Age of Workforce: Forty-one percent of the Central Florida Health Alliance employees are age 50+.
