Benefits/Alternative-Work Arrangements: Employees of GSK can benefit from alternative-work arrangements, which include flextime, a compressed-work schedule, job-sharing, telecommuting, and a formal phased-retirement program. Full-time employees may move to part-time work on a temporary or permanent basis.
Opportunities for Retirees: GSK currently has 9,841 retirees, and they all benefit from the dedication of a staff member directly responsible for retiree relations. Retirees can also remain involved professionally, through temporary work assignments, consulting or contract work, telecommuting, and full- and part-time work. A retiree may work up to 18 months in a temporary assignment.
