AARP is pleased to offer a new and exciting weekly radio program, 2BoomerBabes, that highlights an array of lifestyle topics and key issues faced by the largest generation in history. The award-winning program is a production of AARP Radio and is syndicated on the Radio America Network and NPR affiliate stations.
The hosts, Kathy Bernard and Barbara Kline, capture the essence of “living in the boomer moment” with discussions about empty nesting, retirement, caring for aging parents, health and wellness, career reinvention and dating.
Each week the show features a broad spectrum of guests, including experts in finance, health care, real estate, travel, and technology, as well as everyday people who are living in the moment. Kline and Bernard are not shy about adding their own insights and understanding to the conversation, and always top it off with a dose of good humor.
As recognized “Spokesbabes” for the boomer generation, Kathy Bernard and Barbara Kline cohost the 2BoomerBabes Radio Hour, which broadcasts weekly on NPR affiliate stations.
Bernard and Kline often speak to national businesses, associations and community organizations and were recently named Women of Achievement by Shore Life Magazine.
Bernard is a graduate of the University of Arizona, where she earned her master's in business administration. Kline graduated with two master's degrees from the University of Illinois.
Bernard and Kline are married and the proud moms of two (each) 20-something girls who give “The Babes” much material, often without knowing it.
