En español | Many of us love to travel, but sky-high airfares and stretched-thin budgets often stand in the way. The good news is that bargains on air travel and hotels are plentiful if you know how to find them online — and more and more airlines, hotels, rental car companies and travel agencies are offering information and services in Spanish.

The originals
Online travel agencies such as Travelocity.com (Latin America; Mexico) and Expedia.com (Argentina; Mexico; Spain) have been around for over 15 years. You’ve probably used them in the past, but have you visited the sites lately? Both offer international versions of their sites in Spanish, and both have greatly expanded their original features. Revisit the sites to discover Expedia’s ASAP program, which provides daily travel deals; as well as the Last Minute Deals feature or Trip Explorer Tool. The latter helps you find a trip within your budget, based on departure city, time frame and price point.
Travelocity’s Top Secret Hotels program will give you discounted unpublished rates when you book a hotel without knowing the property name at the time of purchase. You will know the price, location, star rating and amenities, however. And, the site’s Deals Toolkit shows you exactly how much you’re saving when shopping for a trip.
