2. Skate a Figure 8 at a City Park

Spend Thanksgiving in NYC giving thanks for the great public spaces and their varied year-round uses. In Central Park, ice skaters twirl at the Wollman Rink in the southern reaches and the Lasker Rink to the north. Bryant Park's Citi Pond and the rink at Rockefeller Center are other easily accessible places to skate. All have the skyline backdrops that make the holidays in New York so memorable.
