1. Watch the Trains at the New York Botanical Garden
Late each fall, the Holiday Train Show sets up shop in the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory. It's a mesmerizing display of intricate models zipping around tracks marked by miniature versions of the Brooklyn Bridge and other storied city symbols.
