First Stop: Zion National Park
Utah's first national park, founded in 1919, is a "greatest hits" of Utah's geologic wonders — rivers, canyons, arches — you name it, Zion has it. Get your feet wet with a watery hike through Zion Canyon; the trail goes along, and sometimes right through, the Virgin River. After your first day of relatively easy hiking, get a good night's sleep at Zion Lodge, or park your RV at Watchman Campground.
