Fifth Stop: Canyonlands National Park
The great writer Edward Abbey called Canyonlands "the most weird, wonderful, magical place on earth," and as soon as you gaze out over the deep, curvy gorge cut by the Green River, you'll see what he meant. Rent a four-wheel-drive jeep in Moab to explore this park, Utah's largest, or simply soak up the views from various vista points in the "Island in the Sky" section of the park. Either way, you've conquered Utah's five national parks in five days!
