3. Las Vegas

Named as a top destination for the LGBT crowd in several recent surveys, Sin City deserves that recognition. Beyond the slots, buffets and stage spectacles, Las Vegas stands out for being home to the two-year-old Wynn Resorts' Encore, one of the only hotels in the nation to tout a concierge who specifically assists LGBT guests with booking show tickets, spa appointments, golf tee times or other services(wynnpride.com).

Before leaving town, get a dose of Vegas's glittery history at the Liberace Museum, a tribute to the flamboyant entertainer and skilled pianist known as "Mr. Showmanship."
