Milwaukee celebrated 2008 with the opening of the new Harley-Davidson Museum. But while the museum deserves all the attention it received, there's much more to Milwaukee than motorcycles. This Great Lakes city has considered itself the authority on beer since the Great Chicago Fire of 1871 forced Milwaukee to step in and meet the Windy City's beverage needs. Summertime is packed with ethnic and music festivals on Lake Michigan. And Milwaukee is home to a number of impressive arts offerings, including the spectacular Santiago Calatrava-designed Milwaukee Art Museum.
