CHARLESTON - Everyone who is NOT running for office has a chance to win a prize on Primary Election Night at Appalachian Power Park!
AARP invites everyone to join Divided We Fail and the WV Power at the 7:05 p.m. baseball game on Tuesday, May 13.
“Baseball fans who also are political junkies won’t miss any of the action on the field or at the courthouse,” said AARP West Virginia State Director Frank Bellinetti. West Virginia’s Primary Election results will be broadcast on the big screen at the ballpark and plenty of TVs will be available in the stadium to watch the returns.
WV Secretary of State Betty Ireland will throw out the first pitch, and candidates are invited to stop by and join her on the field. Learn which candidates have signed the Divided We Fail pledge, win prizes, and have a lot of fun on this “Two for Tuesday” game night!
AARP has launched Divided We Fail to raise the voices of millions of Americans who believe that health care and life-time financial security are the most pressing domestic issues facing our nation. Learn the issues, add your voice and find out how you can get involved at www.dividedwefail.org.
