Wisconsin - About Your State Office
Regional news from the AARP Bulletin.
Nearly half our population has had trouble reading a prescription drug label or health insurance form. But poor health literacy can cost you more than money—it can cost you your life.
The WisconsinEye Network, much like AARP, is committed to exposing Wisconsinites to the work being done by our State Legislature and finding new ways to inform and invigorate citizens to become educated on issues, actively participate in the process and express their own political views.
As Wisconsinites consider their options during the Medicare Part D enrollment period, which begins Nov. 15, they may want to consider enrolling in SeniorCare. Unlike Medicare Part D, citizens 65-plus can sign up for SeniorCare anytime they wish.
AARP Wisconsin seeks personal stories about the benefits of the SeniorCare program and how cuts in such programs may have been harmful to older adults. These personal stories help AARP fight against cuts in services in Wisconsin.
