Divided We Fail

Our nation is reaching a tipping point. Health care costs are skyrocketing, savings rates are plummeting, and people are wondering if they’ll ever be able to retire. On average, just one in three Americans believes that the next generation will have a better quality of life than we have today.
We can’t let this happen. To help turn things around, AARP has launched “Divided We Fail,” an unprecedented nationwide public outreach initiative, designed to raise the voices of millions of Americans who think that healthcare and financial security are two of the most pressing domestic issues facing our nation.
As part of the effort, AARP Washington is urging you to attend one of our free “Divided We Fail” events in your community. Participants will learn about improving health care and adopting healthy lifestyle changes.
Join us to tell your story and to find out how you can join millions of others across the nation who are getting involved through advocacy and action to make a difference. Events will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on the following dates:

Participants will receive free educational materials including a “Divided We Fail” DVD. Lunch is also provided. The events are free, but space is limited and registration is required. You can register by calling toll-free 1-877-926-8300 or by filling out the online registration form.
