National Council on Aging

NCOA is a national voice for older adults – especially those who are vulnerable and disadvantaged. Provides benefit information for seniors with limited income and resources find a program that helps with prescription drug costs, rent, energy bills, food and more. Promotes healthy aging through consumer education campaigns, helps with Medicare enrollment, has an outreach program to help organizations enroll seniors and younger adults with disabilities and limited means into the benefits programs.
National Family Caregivers Association

They offer family caregivers free resources including a monthly e-letter and a quarterly newsletter. NFCA has a nationwide Pen Pal program, a resource library offering caregiver educational materials on free or low cost preventive care. Additional material is available to help in dealing with the issues of insurance, caregiver training, respite care and information on specific diseases and Medicare.
