AARP Virginia Divided We Fail Van Crossing State Sharing Messages on Health Care, Financial Security
Thousands have visited AARP Virginia’s Divided We Fail van, as it continues its eight month trek visiting every area of the Commonwealth. Sharing messages about health care and financial security, the AARP Virginia Divided We Fail van is expected to travel 10,000 miles and has traveled nearly 5,000 miles so far. Manned by AARP Virginia volunteers, van stops include visits to local fairs, festivals and other events to hear what Divided We Fail is about and to sign the pledge.
Divided We Fail is a national initiative which focuses on the belief that the opportunity to have access to health care and lifetime financial security is a basic need that all Americans share. Nearly one million Virginians are among the more than 47 million Americans who are uninsured.
