CarFit is up and running in Utah! A joint program of AARP, AAA, and The American Occupational Therapy Association [AOTA], it offers older adults the opportunity to check how well their personal vehicles "fit" them. A trained professional asks the driver some simple questions and then completes a 12-point CarFit checklist. The entire process takes about 20 minutes.
Look for updates on a CarFit opportunity near you! Or if you are having an event where you think a CarFit opportunity might work, please contact: Paulette Welch at PauletteOT@aol.com to discuss and schedule.
