Welcome to the AARP Tennessee Web site. We are happy and excited to offer this tool for accessing AARP information, resources and volunteer opportunities.

With well over 730,000 members, AARP Tennessee is a dynamic, exciting organization working hard to make Tennessee a better place for everyone. Led by a strong volunteer team, we represent the needs and interests of Tennessee residents, age 50 and older. Our goal is to strengthen our community through consumer and legislative advocacy, volunteerism, community service and programs that enrich the aging experience.

I encourage you to learn more about AARP Tennessee and the many opportunities available to our members, and to share this resource with your friends. Those without a computer can log on at their public library.

To continue to meet our goals, we need your help. We invite all Tennesseans, age 50 or older, to join. We also encourage our members statewide to volunteer. Tennessee is the Volunteer State, and AARP needs you all to help with state and federal issues and to serve our neighbors.

One last plug. Check our journals regularly for news and information that may be of interest to you. Our goal is to provide the latest news about AARP Tennessee and other issues of interest to our members.
