If you believe there are things that should be changed in our health care or financial security systems and you want all Americans to have a healthier and stronger financial future -- please take three minutes to sign the Divided We Fail pledge at the link below.

It might even take less time than that, but please take a moment to click on the link below and "Take the Pledge" to become one of hundreds of South Dakotans and thousands of Americans who are adding their voice about the importance of strengthening health care and financial security for ALL Americans. It is quick, simple, there is no "catch," and adding your voice will help make the world a better place - with each person who takes the pledge our collective voice demanding action to help our families, friends and neighbors have access to better health care and a stronger financial future becomes louder.

Has anyone in your family faced a health care crisis that strained their finances? Do you know anyone who has ever been denied access to the care that they needed because they couldn't afford the cost of the care? Have you heard stories or do you know someone who doesn't take the medication they need because they can't afford it? Do you have a friend or neighbor who is struggling to make ends meet in retirement because they were unable to save much during their working years and their company no longer offers them a pension?

I could go on and on with other examples of difficult, stressful situations South Dakotan families face each day. If you don't know someone who has faced one or more of these challenges, then you are lucky. These situations are all too common across South Dakota and our entire country, and they are unacceptable. Through Divided We Fail, AARP is raising awareness of these issues and demanding action, answers and accountability from our candidates for public office so that in the coming years meaningful changes will be made to our health care and financial security systems that will help South Dakota families. We can't demand these changes alone - we need YOU to take a moment and take action.

Again, if you believe there are things that should be changed in our health care or financial security systems and you want all Americans to have a healthier and stronger financial future -- please take three minutes to sign the pledge at the link below. Your voice matters. THANK YOU.
