Election 2008 Your Voice, Your Vote
Your vote is your voice to help shape the future of South Dakota and America. Your vote matters, but before you head to the polls November 4th, learn the issues and find out where the candidates stand on the topics that matter to you most.
AARP South Dakota, South Dakota Public Broadcasting and the South Dakota Newspaper Association bring you the only nonpartisan statewide televised debates between candidates for U.S. House and the Public Utilities Commission.
What's important to you this election? Health care and financial security? The economy or energy issues? AARP South Dakota, South Dakota Public Broadcasting and the South Dakota Newspaper Association want to know what issues matter most to voters for Election ‘08. Now is your chance to be heard. Submit questions to be asked during the debates to sdaarp@aarp.org, or call toll free 1-866-542-8172 by October 1st. Then, tune in to watch the debates on SDPB Television and find out how the candidates answer your questions.

Tune into SDPB Radio for audio replay of the debates and additional interviews with the candidates.
Watch "Meet the Candidates" on SDPB Television every Friday night beginning September 19 at 9:30 p.m. CT/ 8:30 p.m. MT. as candidates for the South Dakota Legislature introduce themselves.
