Get Involved with Divided We Fail and Help Shape Our Future

AARP believes that health care and financial security are the most pressing domestic issues facing our nation. It is urgent that we bring all sides together to tackle the health care and financial security issues that are top tier concerns for all Americans.

That’s why we have launched Divided We Fail, and why we are taking our efforts to the Ohio State Fair July 30 through August 10. Red-shirted Champions for Change volunteers will be stationed at the AARP Ohio exhibit in the air-conditioned Marketplace building on the Columbus fairgrounds, where visitors are welcome to stop by to cool off and learn how they can get involved and shape the debate about our future.

Our Champions will offer a variety of materials about health care and lifetime financial security. They will encourage fair visitors to Join with other Americans to ask candidates for action and answers on health and financial security.

Do you have an experience to share with our nation's leaders to show why they must work to improve health care and financial security? AARP Champions for Change will be on hand at the fair to add your story to our Divided We Fail archive.

Americans should have the peace of mind that comes with knowing that their futures will be financially secure and they will have health coverage when they need it. Yet, millions of Americans worry every day about their health and long-term financial security.
