Get Ready! Get Set! Blitz!

AARP's Divided We Fail initiative will "blitz" Burlington and Ocean Counties mid-September, sending volunteers into the community to rally for health care and lifetime financial security. The blitz will run from Sept. 18-20, and is jam-packed with activities and pledge signing events for all to enjoy.
The nonpartisan Divided We Fail Blitz is focusing on Congressional District 3, where John D. Adler (D) and Chris Myers (R) are vying for a seat in the House of Representatives. The blitz will help make health and financial security front and center issues in this hotly contested Congressional race.
The weekend kicks off Sept. 18, with a day of pledge collection in Moorestown, NJ. Volunteers will be stationed at the Moorestown Library and Community Center to help gather signatures and spread the word about Divided We Fail.
A community conversation with Congressman LoBiando in Woolwich Saturday Sept. 20 and a Health and Wellness expo in Cherry Hill are just two of the many events going on through the district during the blitz.
AARP launched Divided We Fail (dividedwefail.org) to amplify the voices of millions of Americans who believe that health care and lifetime financial security are the most pressing domestic issues facing our nation. Through the November elections and beyond, Divided We Fail is demanding that our national leaders address these critical issues.
