AARP-Prairie Public Team Up for Candidate Debates

AARP North Dakota and Prairie Public Broadcasting are teaming up to produce and broadcast nonpartisan candidate debates for the following statewide races: Governor, U.S. House of Representatives, Public Service Commission, Insurance Commissioner, and Superintendent of Schools.
Prairie Public Television Shedule
- Governor debate premieres at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, and repeats at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4.
- The Congressional debate premieres at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, and repeats at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25.
Both debates will also air back-to-back on Sunday, Nov. 2. Check your television guide for times.
Prairie Public Radio Schedule
- Governor debate at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 7 and Oct. 30.
- Congressional debate at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 21 and Oct. 29.
Hear It Now (3 p.m. and 7 p.m.) will feature separate interviews with the following candidates:
- Oct. 6, Cheryl Bergian, Public Service Commission
- Oct. 7, Tim Mathern, Governor
- Oct. 8, Adam Hamm, Insurance Commissioner
- Oct. 16, Max Laird, Superintendent of Schools
- Oct. 21, John Hoeven, Governor
- Oct. 27, Jasper Schneider, Insurance Commissioner
- Oct. 29, Brian Kalk, Public Service Commission
