The Indiana Fever women’s professional basketball team will celebrate AARP’s 50th anniversary at its May 31 game vs. archrival Detroit Shock.

This is a great opportunity to see one of the WNBA’s hottest stars—Fever forward Tamika Catchings—and new teammate Katie Douglas, an Indianapolis native who starred at Purdue University.

Game tickets are just $17 and include free T-shirt, hot dog, chips, soft drink and access to a pre-game party with AARP Indiana members, volunteers, and staff.

The party starts at 5:30 p.m. with tip-off at 7 p.m. on the Fever’s home court at Conseco Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis.

The Fever has made special seating arrangements for everyone who buys an AARP ticket in advance. (Tickets are not limited to AARP members, so please feel free to bring your children, grandchildren, friends and neighbors.)

Tickets are available by phone or e-mail. Send e-mail to cvenick@feverbasketball.com or phone 317-917-2964.

Make sure to mention AARP!
