David McCarthy: Biography

David McCarthy is a lecturer of Finance at the Tanaka Business School at Imperial College London. He has researched, taught and lectured widely on pension fund issues including annuities markets, pension scheme design, pension guarantee funds and the role of pensions in household portfolios. Current research includes work on mandatory annuitisation, the valuation of defined benefit pension promises and optimal risk sharing in pension scheme design.
