Chris Dobson: Secretariat, UK Pensions Commission

Chris Dobson leads the secretariat of the UK Pensions Commission which is tasked with reviewing the pensions system. The Commission provided a thorough analysis of the challenges facing UK pensions in October 2004, when it published its First Report, Pensions Challenges and Choices. It will publish recommendations for the way forward this autumn. Chris is an economist by training and previously held a number of posts in the Department for Work and Pensions concerned with pensions and the labour market.
