Vermont Energy Poll of Consumers 18+
If the tax rate of Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power is raised to the rate charged state Wind Energy Companies, nearly three-quarters (72%) of respondents to this poll of 400 Vermont consumers age 18+ support using the increased revenue to lower consumer energy costs. Nearly half favor raising the power plant rate, while just a third oppose the proposed increase. (2 pages)
