Statement by AARP CEO Bill Novelli on Passage of the Social Security Protection Act

The comprehensive Social Security Protection Act, which passed today with AARP's support, will make Social Security more secure and equitable for millions of the most vulnerable Social Security beneficiaries. It will protect Social Security beneficiaries from unscrupulous scam artists and will remove barriers that have prevented individuals with disabilities from working. We are pleased to have been part of this significant bipartisan legislation.
