Research Report

September 2001

AARP MEMBER OPINION RESEARCH: Of the cross section of AARP's 1.3 million New Jersey members surveyed by mail during July and August 2001, over 90% support a variety of specific initiatives to strengthen long-term care, consumer protection and affordable housing in the state, and at least 70% say they would be more likely to vote for candidates supporting legislation in these areas.
