Event

June 2005

importation

Washington, DC

Remarks and Presentations now available.

As the debate over drug importation from Canada, the EU, and Japan continues in the 109th Congress and across the US, AARP’s Global Aging Program organized a symposium, "Prescription Drug Importation: Can It Help America’s Seniors?" that will help opinion leaders consider some of the fundamental questions surrounding the legislation. Specifically, this symposium focused on the impact of imported drugs on costs in the US and the safety of our pharmaceutical system.
