This national telephone survey was conducted for AARP to explore the purchase of preneed funeral and burial arrangements by Americans 50 and older. Four main areas were explored: 1) the rate of solicitation, 2) the rate of purchase, 3) the types of goods and services purchased and 4) the method of payment.
