Pornography is more graphic, extreme and readily available than ever before. Today's pornography makes the Playboy and Penthouse Magazines of the past seem tame by comparison. The explicit, sometimes brutal, often degrading images, videos and text available on the Internet are having an impact far beyond their intentional viewers, with often devastating effects, according to Gail Dines, a Women’s Studies professor at Wheelock College in Boston.
