It’s one of the safest places on earth but few people are allowed in. Deep inside a mountain near Salt Lake City, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is storing billions of genealogy records.

Alyne was in Utah covering a national genealogical conference when the church announced it’s digitizing these records and has already made some available online.
