Fisher House Foundation has provided comfort homes for military families for over 12 years. Founded by Zachary Fisher, a New York real estate developer, Fisher House has helped more than 140,000 families be together during a difficult time, when a service member is recovering from an injury.

This represents a great example of first lady Michelle Obama’s initiative, Joining Forces, which encourages private and community support for military families who sacrifice tremendously for our country.
