Center to Champion Nursing Awards Photo Grand Prize to California Hospital

The Center to Champion Nursing for America is pleased to announce the Torrance Memorial Medical Center in Torrance, Calif., as the grand prize winner of our 2010 photo contest.

The photo submitted by Don Van Buren was selected for its compelling image of nursing and its unique relationship with patients.

Of the 200 entries CCNA received, 178 have become part of a nursing photo repository representing the true breadth and depth of nurses’ work. You can view additional area winners, as well as a number of special mentions at championnursing.org.
