More than 56 percent of Virgin Islanders over the age of 50 are AARP members, and we are continuously growing.
The AARP Virgin Islands State Office opened almost six years ago, and since that time many AARP members have taken the opportunity to visit our office to learn more about what AARP is doing in the Islands.
We work closely with the state lawmakers drafting legislation and arguing for or against proposed legislation, participating at regulatory hearings and educating members. Often we work in cooperation with community coalitions. We perform a broad base of service and promote close interaction with all sectors of our community.
