AARP Alabama Speakers' Bureau volunteers are available to speak at clubs, businesses, civic groups or any meeting needing an informative, entertaining program.
AARP's mission is to enhance the quality of life for all as we age. We work toward positive social change and deliver value to our members through information, advocacy and community service.
Through our Speakers' Bureau, trained AARP volunteers share information on topics of interest to those aged 50-plus and their families.
Volunteer speakers live throughout the state; are available to talk about many topics; and their presentations can be tailored to meet your group's needs. This free community service provides speakers on many topics including:
- Social Security
- Medicare and Medicaid
- Prescription Drugs Affordability
- Economic Security
- Older Workers
- Livable Communities
- Healthcare, Long-Term Care and Caregiving
- Driver Safety
- Consumer Fraud Protection
To book a speaker for your next event, please fill out the online form, or call toll-free (866) 542-8167. Where facilities are available, speakers can also make Power Point presentations.
