Welcome to our AARP North Dakota Web site. We invite you to look at statewide AARP volunteer activities around community service and advocacy as well as future directions and planned events.
As AARP members, we benefit from the energetic efforts of our own talented staff located in our state office in Bismarck, and from the efforts of our national organization, working in every state simultaneously. One might say "we are in good hands" as members of this organization which has demonstrated proactive leadership and influence necessary to bring about social change for the benefit of our population 50 and greater.
Those "good hands" are also ours! Add to this the efforts of thousands of talented volunteers from every state and territory, and the groundswell is present with "The power to make it better."
Our organization boasts a state membership of approximately 73,000. Isn't that an impressive number? We would like to interest you in volunteering for AARP North Dakota.
AARP membership is not required to become a volunteer. We are always seeking persons with a generous heart who wish to contribute their time toward improving life for their fellow citizens. One can volunteer by helping with a specific event, volunteering certain times of the year, or hourly every month. Opportunities are available for any combination of time and talent.
We recognize there are so many talents and skills people take with them as they enter the world of retirement. Imagine utilizing those many talents and skills to achieve "The power to make it better?"
From a personal perspective, you will never find a more rewarding and fulfilling role. Volunteerism with AARP means improving life for members and indirectly benefiting all generations. Call our office in Bismarck at (701) 355-3643 to make inquiry, secure information and become a volunteer.
Please visit our Web site frequently to be informed of upcoming events and activities.
Explore AARP North Dakota, consider becoming a volunteer, join our team.
