The DELAWARE HELPLINE is a free online service which provides information on state government agencies and referrals to community resources.
Delaware Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities
The Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities' mission is to develop and provide services to improve or maintain the quality of life for Delawareans who are at least 18 years of age with physical disabilities or who are elderly.
ELDERinfo
ELDERinfo is Delaware's State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) designed to assist Delaware's Medicare population with problems/questions relating to Medicare, Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap), Medicare+Choice (Medicare Managed Care), Medicaid, long-term care insurance, and other types of health insurance.
Long Term Care Residents Protection
The mission of the Division of Long Term Care Residents Protection is to promote the quality of care, safety and security of people living in long term care facilities and to ensure facilities' compliance with applicable state and federal laws and regulations designed to protect these residents.
AARP Delaware Partnerships
Delaware Money Management Program The Delaware Money Management Program is cosponsored by the Division of Services for the Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities and AARP. This program offers money management service to help low-income seniors and adults with physical disabilities that have difficulty budgeting, paying routine bills and keeping track of financial matters and may be at risk of losing their independence due to inability to manage their financial affairs.
ElderCare Awareness Coalition
In Delaware, a group of forward-thinking not-for-profits, corporations, state agencies and community stakeholders joined together to play a proactive role to increase awareness and create a support network for employees who provide or will provide care for elder loved ones. AARP Delaware, The Family & Workplace Connection, CARE Delaware and others continue to build awareness about eldercare and the resources available to support caregivers within the state.
