She Was One of Us

Eleanor Roosevelt and the American worker.

Among her many passions and causes, Eleanor Roosevelt was a fierce advocate for workers and for workers rights.  She believed workers’ rights – the right to a decent job, decent working conditions and a fair wage were human rights and she was never afraid to take on those who opposed those views.

Her lifelong devotion to labor is explored in a new book by Brigid O’Farrell.
