You could argue author and Vietnam veteran Allan Gurganus has a dark perspective. He believes in the theory, "If you have an army, chances are you'll have a war." And though wars are fought on the front lines, the soldiers return home is often their last battle of confliict. Gurganus' novel, Oldest Living Confederate Widow Tells All, explores the Civil War, and the war the Captain inflicts on his wife, Lucy Marsden. Producer Richard Ziglar has more.
