Alaskans' Government Satisfaction: A 2009 AARP Survey

Job approval of the Alaska Governor and the Alaska Congressional delegation, as well as opinion about Congressional health care reform legislation are represented in these four AARP graphical summary documents, each prepared exclusively for the elected official: Governor Sean Parnell, Senator Lisa Murkowski, Senator Mark Begich, and Congressman Don Young.  Each document includes respondents’ attitudes about health care reform as well as the job approval of the elected official.

These surveys were conducted during November 11-23, 2009, among 800 registered voters in Alaska age 18 and older, with a boost of 250 Juneau residents.  The response rate is 40%; results are weighted by age and gender. For further information, please contact Susan Silberman at 202-434-6339.
