Oklahoma has released an all-new 2012 calendar featuring the photographic talents of members statewide. The calendar was produced as part of the state’s Telling Our Story project.

“We were extremely pleased with the response and enthusiasm of our members as well as publicity surrounding the calendar,” said State Director Sean Voskuhl. “We had submissions from all corners of the state and selecting the photos for quite a job for our Executive Council.”

More than 300 photos were submitted that were narrowed down to 12 pictures that best illustrated the diversity of the Sooner State, he said.

Photos featured in the calendar were unveiled at the 2011 AARP Oklahoma Volunteer Recognition held recently in Oklahoma City and photographers were recognized at the event.
