This group can refer you to a specialist, who can evaluate your situation and help you find professionals to help care for your loved one. Professional Geriatric Care Managers  help families who are caring for older relatives. Someone certified by the Association is trained and experienced in any of several fields related to long-term care, including nursing, gerontology, social work, psychology, or another caregiving discipline with a focus on aging and elder care.
