2013 Survey of AARP Members in Wyoming

AARP members in Wyoming are concerned about their health and their health care coverage.  Over half are extremely concerned about Medicare, prescription drugs, and staying mentally sharp.

Three in four members in Wyoming also believe that the services and supports provided by Medicaid are extremely or very important.

Over half say that themselves or someone they know will be extremely or very likely to need Medicaid coverage at some point in their future.

Two in three members say they support expanding Wyoming’s Medicaid program to cover single adults with low incomes and no children.  The majority of members regardless of their political ideology support this expansion (Conservatives, 52%; Moderates, 74%; and Liberals, 88%).
