A 90-year-old Navy veteran recounts his "undesirable discharge" during World War II. A New Yorker describes the six nights of rioting in 1969 that began at the Stonewall Inn. An HIV survivor remembers the horror of his diagnosis in the early 1980s. And a soldier, battling terminal cancer,  argues why her same-sex spouse should receive full veterans and Social Security benefits.
