In his book, Ethical Wisdom, he argues that the framework of religion is not necessary to make good ethical choices. Those who we interact closely with, influence many of our moral decisions. He attributes this phenomenon to such Golden Rules as “do unto others as you would have them do unto you,” which are man-made ethical codes created to favor the ruling class.
