What does AARP have to offer you right here in North Dakota?
Come to an educational workshop in either Bismarck-Mandan or Fargo to find out.
Learn what you can do to live a healthy lifestyle, including provisions of the new health care law that can help you do just that. It’s information you can use.
Featured speakers will be Marguerite Salazar, regional director for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and a member of AARP’s national board of directors.
Learn about some of the issues that matter to you and your family. You’ll also have the chance to tell us about your top concerns and how we can help.
In a January AARP survey of North Dakotans age 50 and older, nearly half identified health care issues as the top challenge facing people as they age. And 94 percent of North Dakotans 50 and older said that staying healthy is important to them, but only 34 percent believe they have everything they need to make that happen.
“This workshop will help meet some of the health information needs people asked for in the survey,” said AARP Senior State Director Janis Cheney. “We hope to be able to provide people with some of the tools and resources they can use to live healthier lifestyles.”
We know you have a busy schedule, but we hope you can join us for just three hours for this informative workshop.
