This national event reflects the personality of today's AARP: vital and vibrant, dynamic and diverse, friendly and fun. The event includes top-name concert entertainment like Ray Charles, hundreds of exciting exhibits, seminars and sessions with celebrity presenters like Dr. Ruth, Lou Gossett, Jr. and Dr. Bob Arnot.

Interactive exhibits include the AARP Pavilion, new and future technologies, travel and leisure destinations, and a host of other products and services — all under one roof! Participate in morning fitness warm-ups and intergenerational activites with your family and explore energy centers focused on health and advocacy. There will be music, fitness, and fun for all.

Life@50+: A Celebration of You is open to members, friends and family. With its central U.S. location, AARP's national event in Chicago is an ideal destination for families and children of all ages. Life@50+: A Celebration of You takes place in Lakeside Center at McCormick Place, the largest convention center in the country.

Stroll for miles along Lake Michigan, savor the culinary delights at fine restaurants, visit one of many popular museums or art galleries, shop the Magnificent Mile of famous retail stores, or spend a magical evening at the theater. The neighborhood sidewalks of Chicago offer a collage of sights, sounds, and tastes that make for one of the most ethnically diverse and architecturally celebrated cities in the world.
