You are a hero for taking care of your mom so well! But, you need to take care of yourself, too. Many times family members don't live close enough, or , take the time to be even part time caregivers. But, sometimes, people in your community are willing to help out, so you can do the job of caring for both of you!
Contact you local office on aging, for you county, and , also, let people in your church, and in your neighborhood know that you are looking for some time to have a break from caregiving. Some local agencies offer "respite care" for elderly , which gives their caregivers a real and regularly scheduled break.
