We lost my dad Nov 23 of last year at the age of 84. He is survived by my mom at 80 - she will turn 81 in January. They were married for over 61 years and she seemed to be doing ok at first. Lately my sister and I have noticed that she tends to talk all the time about the past - the old doctors that she and dad had in the various places they lived, etc. She keeps bringing those tales up more and more and she talks less and less about her current doctors. We have noticed this in just the last couple of months - before that we sold her home at her request and bought her a new one closer to both of us and she handled all of this without a problem. Is this the start of something mental or is she just going through a grieving period again? Her 62nd anniversary would have been on 8/11 but we've noticed this new departure for the last couple of months. Any advice would be appreciated. My sister and I are not sure what to do at this point.
